In the triskele (also "triskelion") we see the spiral, specifically the triple spiral, which is one of the most ancient of the spiritual symbols. It is a symbol of eternity, with three symmetrical swirls originating from one point. Although the exact meaning of the triskele symbol is debated, to the Celts the theme of three was especially important: earth, sea & sky; life, death & rebirth; and in the goddess culture, the Maiden, Mother and Crone. it is also associated with the three worlds - the physical, the spirit world/ancestors, the natural world of sun, moon & stars/planets.

These pretty triskele earrings are 2“ long and I’ve made the ear wires with 100% copper, as well as the dangling links. The charm is copper-plated & antiqued pewter.

“Antiqued” is how the oxidized look is often described. Oxidization gives a lovely vintage, antique, old world look which fits this ancient symbol perfectly
